A Glimpse into the Mind of a Confused, Chaotic Woman

Hi, it’s V. I write about what it means to be a twenty something trying to find their footing in this two-toned world that continues to confuse and surprise us. My pieces are an amalgamation of my existential adventures and the collective experience shared by us all.

I write to heal. I hope that reading my work evokes a similar response in you as well :)

A friend of mine described my writing as

'a professional scribble'.

I can't think of any better way to describe my blog posts.

Once a week, I post a four minute read addressing the paradoxical experiences of being a child cosplaying an adult. My pieces are whimsical with underlying themes of mental illness, existentialism and identity crises, the ebbing and flowing nature of friendship, long distance relationships, pop culture, self compassion and much more.

With every piece, I feel less alone. With every piece I find more of myself.

If my blog is my brain child, then my poems are the offspring of my soul. They are pure, unadulterated emotion guided solely by my need to maintain an order that resembles a rhyme scheme. Most of these were written while I was coming to terms with my mental illness diagnoses. Thus, they are grim and throbbing with hurt, but while writing a few of them, I was able to find my silver lining.

A  mixed bag of things that inspire and excite me. You can find personally curated playlists, extensively thought out top ten lists, self care ideas and astrology tid-bits here.
